About

A shelf order for long series

Order of Video Games is a small reference site for role-playing series that sprawl across decades. Each page says which edition to play on current hardware, lists the games in the order they shipped, and, when the fiction uses a different order, lists that too.

The writing is original. Dates, platforms, and story order are checked against publisher pages, press notes, and reference lists linked at the bottom of each series page. If a detail was shaky, it was left out or marked in the project README rather than guessed.

The site is not affiliated with any game publisher. Names of games and companies are used so you can find the right edition. All trademarks belong to their owners. There is no box art, logo, or screenshot on these pages.

Advertising and Amazon affiliate links are planned. Neither is active yet. The affiliate tag in the site config is empty, and there are no display ads.
